A competition to settle the house Damate at New Shores art estate was announced

Submit of applications for participation in the competition to settle and accommodate the residential building Damate, built by the company in New Shores art estate, was announced. This is the only specialized multifunctional complex in Russia for young disabled people and foster families. After summing up the results of the competition, 26 residents are planned to move into a new house.

Damate Group became a partner of the charity project New Shores in the summer of 2019. The company invested 27 million rubles in the development of the project. With this money, a two-story house, designed to accommodate graduates of orphanages and young disabled people was built in the art estate.

The bid campaign will last until April 30, 2020. The results will be summed up by the Public Council of New Shores art estates on May 15. The public council is attended not only by representatives of government and business, but also by the project participants themselves. 

Damate Group is represented by Rashid Khairov, co-founder and CEO of the group.

Socially minded people with special need and families bringing up natural or adopted disabled children will be able to take part in the project. These are people who have found themselves in difficult life situations and cramped circumstances, who have nowhere to live, and who are unable to find a job.

The winners of the competitive admission will be able to live in apartments under a gratuitous rental agreement. A key condition for living in the art estate is implementation of an author's project aimed at solving socially significant problems.

The charity project New Shores is presented by a housing community in Bogoslovka village, Penza region, the architecture of which meets all the requirements of the accessible environment and subtleties of space for the comfort of people with disabilities. An inclusive educational center, a shop, a health center, workshops, production sites, a cafe, a cinema, a chapel, office buildings are represented by five infrastructure facilities. Seven residential buildings for 30 apartments for 120 people are being built in stages. Currently, 2 houses have already been built and 7 objects are under construction.

The total cost of the project is 190 million rubles; it is being implemented at the expense of the Presidential grant and donations from philanthropists. The project is unlike any other in Russia and was conceived taking into account the studied experience of Austria, Germany, Finland, Italy and America.
