Damate Group allocated 1 million rubles to the Coronavirus Infection Assistance Fund, created in Penza region on the initiative of a business. The proposal to create a fund that would accumulate funds from private investors to support medical institutions was announced on March 31 at a meeting of large business owners with regional governor Ivan Belozertsev.

Business representatives offered the region and the operational headquarters assistance in the fight against COVID-19 infection. Damate and other companies have confirmed their readiness to allocate funds as gratuitous assistance to Penza healthcare institutions to form a reserve fund of necessary medical supplies: disposable suits, glasses, masks, and hand sanitizers.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of the regional branch of the Union of Women of Russia, deputy of the Legislative Assembly, Olga Chistyakova, who is responsible for the work of the reserve fund. She noted that the fund is ready to accept charitable contributions from industrial enterprises and businesses and accumulate them in a special account. And also to carefully monitor that the money from the fund is used strictly for its intended purpose: to prevent the spread of the virus COVID-19 and the disinfection of institutions and public places.

"Damate on its own initiative has already allocated money to the Fund created in the region. We hope that they have already reached the recipient and will soon be sent to purchase the necessary medical materials and equipment,” said Rashid Khairov, Director General of Damate Management Company.
