Damate increased duck production in Rostov by 2.5 times within 9 months of 2022

The Damate Group of Companies, a categorical expert in niche meat markets, has increased duck production at the New Duck Farms LLC plant (part Damate Group) in Rostov region, by 2.5 times in slaughter weight within 9 months of 2022 compared to the same period last year. The positive dynamics of the growth of production volumes up to 13.3 thousand tons became possible thanks to the implementation of the company's poultry project in Rostov, the phased output of the enterprise to the declared capacity.

"Damate's performance growth in Rostov region was greatly influenced by the launch of all 40 commercial duck breeding poultry houses, the formation of its own parent flock, the resumption of work and the full capacity of the duck slaughter and processing plant, as well as the expansion of the product range up to 250 positions," said Rashid Khairov, General Director of Damate.

"Over the past two years, a lot has been done in Rostov region to restore positions in the production of poultry meat, and we see that Damate, according to our agreements, has phased in all capacities for the production of turkey and duck meat, modernizing equipment and improving production processes, and is now increasing production volumes" the first deputy Governor of the Rostov region Viktor Goncharov noted "The growth in the production of duck meat influenced the increase of aggregate capacity in the Don livestock and poultry food production."

Today Ozerka branded semi-finished duck meat products are produced at the Damate plant. The assortment line includes both a whole carcass, and large- and small-sized products, a variety of positions in marinades, offal. At the end of last year, the first batch of halal duck products was sent to the United Arab Emirates, and deliveries abroad continue to be implemented in 2022.

The design capacity of the Damate duck processing plant in Rostov region is 4 thousand heads per hour. Modern high-tech equipment is introduced at the plant. Planned measures to modernize production are continuing this year. Specialists pay special attention to compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards.

In 2022, Damate completed the formation of its own parent flock of ducks from 70 thousand heads of poultry to reduce dependence on the import of incubation eggs and minimize biological risks.

Together, all these factors guarantee the production of high-quality and safe products. The company plans to reach the production volume of about 18 thousand tons of duck meat by the end of this year, which exceeds the planned indicators.
