Damate Group, the largest turkey producer in Russia, sums up the results of exports in 2021. In 12 months, the export turnover exceeded 2 billion rubles. At the same time, the volume of deliveries has increased more than 10 times in two years and amounted to over 14 thousand tons. The increase in export indicators is the result of systematic work on the development of export direction.

During the year, the geography of deliveries increased from 18 to 31 countries. New markets for the company are the Caribbean, Europe, West and East Africa, Central Asia, the Persian Gulf, including Saudi Arabia.

More than half of the total exports were to African countries: Benin, Congo, Gabon, Liberia and others. Traditionally, large volumes have arrived in China - about 3 thousand tons. Shipments to the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia increased; Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates also entered the top 10 importers.

The range of products supplied includes anatomical parts and turkey semi-finished products. The growth of trade turnover was influenced by the start of exports of high-margin sausage products, which became possible thanks to the opening of Europe's largest turkey deep processing plant in the Penza region. In addition, this year Damate started supplying anatomical parts of the duck to the countries of the Middle East via the HoReCa channel.

An important stage of development in 2021 was the beginning of deliveries of branded halal turkey products abroad. Under the specially created brand Salima, products were supplied to Muslim countries.

In 2022, the company will continue to strengthen its export positions, develop the geography of sales, including by entering the ASEAN countries. The plans are to increase the turnover by more than three times.

Damate started shipping turkey meat for export in the fall of 2015. To date, Damate enterprises have permits to supply products to the countries of the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and 33 other countries of the world.
