For the second year in a row the livestock complex of Damate Group in Tyumen region demonstrates high performance results and has produced more than 56 thousand tons of raw milk according to the results of 2022. This volume corresponds to the planned capacity of the enterprise at total capacity and the level of production last year. It is worth noting that 95% of the received volume is premium milk. Currently, the size of the milking herd at the complex is 6 thousand cows; the number of cattle is 13.5 thousand heads.

Systematic work on the application of innovative solutions in technological processes has a positive impact on ensuring stable production results. The most significant of them are AI in the calving process and remote monitoring of the herd.

The implementation of the country's first cattle genetics project that has been implemented at the enterprise since the beginning of 2021 plays an important role. As part of this project, Damate uses advanced genetic technologies at the complex, including genomic testing and IVF.

In 2022, Damate was the first in Russia to determine the genetic potential of the entire dairy farm herd using genomic selection technology, which allowed revealing the hidden genetic potential of cows immediately after birth. Last year, the company additionally carried out genotyping of about 4 thousand heads, so today 100% of the livestock of the repair young has been genotyped. The results obtained made it possible to improve the herd structure and create a breeding core. Over the past year, the specialists of the complex were systematically introducing animals into the herd based on genomic typing, which has improved the dairy productivity of the herd and maintained a high level of milk yield.

Damate keeps developing breeding livestock and increases sales of highly productive livestock from its own breeding reproducer in Tyumen region. In 2023, the company plans to sell more than 600 heads of breeding heifers of the Holstein-Frisian breed.

The Damate dairy complex, the largest in Siberia, was officially opened in 2017, and the third stage of the farm was commissioned in 2020.
