Damate was the first Russian turkey meat producer to receive an export permit to Singapore. In the near future, the company plans to start organizing shipments.

Damate Group was the first Russian turkey meat producer to receive the right to export its products to Singapore. Damate is currently finalizing its product range and negotiating with Singaporean companies.

The company's specialists carried out a lot of preparatory work to obtain an export permit. Damate, Russia's largest turkey production complex in Penza region, has passed a comprehensive audit of veterinary and food safety systems organized by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The agency's inspectors assessed the entire production process, from the arrival of live poultry to the shipment of finished products. They checked the compliance with temperature conditions and the operation of the food safety system based on the principles of HACCP. Foreign experts also analyzed the participation of the state veterinary service in the processes of acceptance and slaughter of poultry and the procedure for conducting veterinary and sanitary expertise. As a result of the audit, the full compliance of the products with national requirements was confirmed, which allowed obtaining permission to enter the market.

"Damate has extensive experience in the export of turkey meat and a well-deserved reputation as a reliable manufacturer and supplier of high-quality products. This allows us to start organizing shipments as soon as possible. We are optimistic about the opportunities that are opening up and expect to take our rightful place in the Singapore turkey meat market. We are confident that turkey meat, due to its dietary properties, high protein content and hypoallergenic properties, will gain the trust of local consumers," said Daria Lashchenko, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales at Damate.

Damate started developing its export business in 2015. An important component of the competitive advantage in foreign markets is the consistently high quality of products and compliance with Halal requirements.

By the end of 2024, turkey products remain the driver of Damate's foreign supplies: more than 19 thousand tons of meat, processed products and ready-to-eat turkey products were shipped by Damate to the countries of the African continent, the Persian Gulf, Asia and neighboring countries. More than half of the total turkey exports were shipped to China– one of the key markets for the company. Supplies to the markets of the Middle East and, above all, Saudi Arabia were also increased. Last year, Damate increased the supply of turkey sausage products by 42% and relies on the development of exports of deep-processed products with high added value.
