Damate reports operational results of 2024

Damate Group, a category expert in niche meat markets, summarized its performance for the 12-month period of 2024 across its four key business areas: production and processing of turkey, duck, lamb, and dairy farming.
Turkey Production
Damate remains the No. 1 turkey producer in Russia, ranks as the leading turkey supplier in Europe, and holds fifth place globally by volume*. In 2024, the company produced 241,500 tons of turkey meat, a 2% increase over the previous year. The positive dynamics were driven by the consistent implementation of investment projects in the Penza, Rostov, and Tyumen regions, with new facilities reaching their planned operational capacity.
In the Penza region, the company commissioned the first of two poultry farming units, comprising 64 poultry houses for growing and fattening. The second phase, scheduled for completion in August 2025, will increase turkey production by an additional 22,600 tons annually.
In the Rostov region, Damate Group finalized the acquisition of the region’s largest turkey farming complex, with a capacity of 85,000 tons per year. Over the past year, the company launched 40 commercial poultry houses in the region, increased the throughput of vacuum packaging lines at the turkey processing plant by one third, upgraded the feed mill, and automated technological processes at the facility.
Damate continues to focus on expanding its semi-finished turkey product range through advanced processing. In 2024, the company increased production of processed turkey products by 25%, reaching 26,000 tons, and entered the top 20 largest sausage producers in Russia**.
Duck Production
In 2024, Damate produced 18,000 tons of duck meat in the Rostov region, marking a 30% increase compared to the previous year. This growth was driven by rising consumer demand, an expanded product range made possible by the installation of new equipment, and broader export market reach.
A key development during the year was the transfer of ownership of the production and technological facilities of Donstar LLC to Damate.
Lamb Production
Damate continues to expand its lamb production project in the North Caucasus Federal District. The project includes a lamb processing plant, feedlots, a support company for local farmers, and a genetics program. In 2024, Damate produced 4,500 tons of lamb, a 24% increase over 2023.
A milestone in the development of the lamb production and processing project was the completion of the largest sheep feedlot in the North Caucasus. Located in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the facility can house 50,000 heads at a time. The launch of the second phase of the complex increased the supply of raw materials for the processing plant and provided farmers with additional opportunities to market their lambs.
A notable increase was also recorded in the canned meat category, which includes products made from turkey and lamb at the company's plant in Cherkessk (Karachay-Cherkess Republic). In 2024, production of canned goods rose three and a half times, reaching 2,700 tons, thanks to an increase in the plant’s production capacity to 2 million cans per month.
Dairy Farming
For the fourth year in a row, Damate’s dairy complex in the Tyumen region has demonstrated consistently strong performance. In 2024, the facility produced 59,000 tons of raw milk. This volume reflects the enterprise's full planned production capacity. Notably, 99% of the milk produced met the highest quality grade.
Stable production results have been supported by the systematic implementation of innovative technological solutions. Damate continues to advance its “Milk 2.0” project, aimed at developing a domestic herd management system to replace foreign analogues. The project has been included in the list of priority initiatives under the Russian Federation’s National Digital Economy Program.
