Damate Group, Russia's largest turkey producer, has begun exporting turkey products to the Philippines. The first batch of breast fillets has already arrived in the destination country, and deliveries are ongoing.

Damate received export approval last year. Work had been underway for over two years, beginning with a business mission by Russian agricultural producers to the Philippines, where significant interest in Damate products was expressed. This was a significant factor in initiating active work by the regulator.

Export shipments are made from a turkey production complex in the Penza Region. Following an audit, the complex's facilities confirmed their full compliance with the country's product safety requirements. The audit was conducted in person and included an assessment of the entire production process—from poultry farming to finished product shipment. As a result, a positive certification decision was made in 2025, and the turkey production complex's products were allowed into the Philippine market.

The positive decision was influenced not only by the exemplary organization of production processes but also by Damate's extensive experience in export deliveries. Today, products are exported to China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and elsewhere.

"Expanding into the Southeast Asian markets is one of Damate's strategic export development objectives. Entering the Philippine market has allowed us to expand our presence in the region. Turkey meat is popular in the Philippines, and we hope to establish regular supplies. We expect to establish regular turkey deliveries, as this product is not new and is popular in the Philippines. Furthermore, expanding our export geography once again confirms Damate's status as a reliable food exporter," noted Daria Lashchenko, Deputy General Director of Marketing and Sales at Damate.

Damate began developing its export business in 2015. Today, the company has permits to supply turkey, duck, lamb, and deep-processed turkey products to more than 60 countries worldwide.
